Great， realistic and well written dystopian adventure。 Love the series with all the twits and turns。 It is quiet realistic。 Hopefully there be follow ups in this universe and with the same characters。It has great， realistic characters with all their faults and how they interact。 It is well written and keeps you wanting to read the next page。 In the midst of trying to survive， antagonists cause havoc。 Will our heroes come out in one peace？

This is an excellent series of books which I was rather sorry to finish。 From the start， I liked the main characters and understood something of what drove them to tackle a world that had changed fundamentally overnight。 They had some skill in survival and a determination to tackle their new reality which they did with courage despite their well-founded fear。 Even the secondary characters came to life despite having only a passing part to play in the story。For the main characters， there was alwa This is an excellent series of books which I was rather sorry to finish。 From the start， I liked the main characters and understood something of what drove them to tackle a world that had changed fundamentally overnight。 They had some skill in survival and a determination to tackle their new reality which they did with courage despite their well-founded fear。 Even the secondary characters came to life despite having only a passing part to play in the story。For the main characters， there was always the thought of arriving at something safer but alongside that， the fear that they would not find the safety that they longed for。 As the series went on， I wondered how the killings by both good and bad characters would work its way out once the immediate emergency was over？ Would the power come back on？ Would law and order re-establish itself and what would be the consequences for those who had killed even if they had only killed to save themselves and others from the bad guys？ And how would the characters gain peace of mind after a period of extreme circumstances led them to do things that they would never have done in more normal times？ The end didn’t disappoint！Highly recommended。 。。。more
